Ontario Summer Games MTB Update
Additional spots are available for MTB female athletes wishing to participate in the MTB portion of the upcoming 2018 Ontario Summer Games. Interested athletes wishing to compete in the Games are encouraged to email email@example.com by NOON, Monday, June 18th.
Eligible athletes must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, reside in the Province of Ontario, be 13-17 years of age as of December 31st 2018 and have a valid 2018 UCI or Citizen Permit license.
Spots are available on a first come, first serve basis.
Additional spots are also available for male or female MTB coaches. Interested coaches wishing to participate are encouraged to email firstname.lastname@example.org by NOON, Monday, June 18th.
Eligible coaches must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, reside in the Province of Ontario, have a valid 2018 UCI license, and be Community Initiation certified at a minimum.
The 2018 Ontario Summer Games will be taking place August 1st – 5th in London, Ontario. The Mountain Bike portion of the Games will be based out of Boler Mountain and consist of a Team Relay, Cross Country race, Eliminator, and Short Track race. The OCA is excited to continue offering this multi-sport experience to athletes in the Learn to Train and Train to Train stages of the LTAD. Many of Ontario’s best young cyclists have used Ontario Summer Games as a springboard to National success.
