Mandate

Develop a Provincial calendar of events as prescribed by the board of directors and consistant with the vision of opitimizing athlete development described within the Long Term Athlete Development model.

Profile Coming Soon Andrew grew up in the then, small town of Bradford, to a farming family. He picked up Mtbing after a selling his dirt bike and has been racing bikes ever since. Focusing on MTB racing but still tries to find time to race some Road and Cyclo-Cross throughout the season.  Andrew is actively involved with his local cycling club helping to promote the sport and help new riders out.
Scott has been involved in cycling for close to 15 years. He first began racing his bike as a member of Hardwood Hills Devo team when he was 13. Since then he has become increasingly involved in all facets of the sport and is presently the Head Mechanic for the Canadian National Mountain Bike team. Working with National, Professional and Provincial teams, Scott has worked in 4 different disciplines across 5 different continents and in events such as World Championships, Pan Am Championships, World Cups, Pro Tour, Pro XCT, NRC, National Championships and Canada Summer Games. Scott enjoys writing about cycling and has had his work featured in publications including Pedal Magazine, Bike Trade Canada,Velonews and Cyclingnews.com. Scott lives in Guelph, Ontario with his girlfriend Julia. They enjoy drinking coffee, listening to music and traveling.

Greg is an avid hockey buff which is actually what lead him to the sport of cycling in 1987 as it was a great training tool to get ready for the hockey season. He competed in his first MTB race in 1992 and his first road Ontario Cup in 1997.  Greg has raced for many clubs and teams over his cycling career and can currently be seen riding for the Z Team Wheels of Oakville in the Master 1 category. In addition to his racing schedule, Greg has also taken on the important task of organizing and is also an NCCP level 2 coach. His racing history and knowledge of the rules both from a coach and rider perspective are welcome to the Officials Committee. Fred, who is famous for the old Fred’s Farm races, has been around the sport of Mountain Biking for years. After being named the first chair of the Ontario Mountain Bike Committee in 1986, Fred has climbed the ladder in the cycling world having officiated various events worldwide as a UCI Mountain Bike Commissaire and is currently a member on the Canadian Cycling Association’s Officials Committee. His strong knowledge base and world experience will be an important tool to assist the Officials Committee going forward.
