The Kincardine to Inverhuron Provincial Park Trail (KIPP) is a proposed trail extension to the park. This will allow safe alternative transportation along Road 23 to the park and for cycle commuters to Bruce Power. Funds raised from the Tour of Kincardine will go directly to the Kincardine Trails Association KIPP development. Learn more HERE!
The trails are part of the Kincardine Trails system – an entirely intra-town system with a variety of challenging terrain for a cyclist. The race course is approximately 22.5 km long. The terrain roughly breaks down to 8.8 km of hard surfaces, 9.7 km of single track, and 4 km of paved roads. The single track will have some natural dismount features as well as handling skill challenges regardless of the bike you choose to ride. The route follows the forested river trails, lakeside paths and connecting roads through the town of Kincardine.
