The OCA will be hosting a MTB Skills Day at JoyRide 150. The day will be focused on introducing and refining technical skills applicable to MTB but also to improve overall bike handling abilities.
This camp will have three (3) main areas of focus:
- Jump Lines – Learning to become more comfortable in the air and working through progressive jump features
- Body-Bike Separation Skinnies – Focus on balance, looking ahead, and maintaining a relaxed bike position
- Pump Track – Learning to ride more efficiently by maximizing momentum and building speed with less pedaling
The camp is open to athletes [ages 13 – 22] with an OCA UCI license who competed within the 2019 MTB O-Cup Series.
Athletes must register by November 17 using the following link REGISTER HERE
The $50 fee will cover JoyRide fees, bike rental (welcome to bring your own bike), and coaching. Athletes are responsible for their own lunch and snacks.
Camp will begin at 9:30 and wrap-up at 2:30pm.
