Ontario Cycling Association chosen charity ride for 2017.
In its 16th year, the Ride for Karen is Ontario’s premiere charity cycling event. This is the original Gran Fondo – there are 100km, 160km and 200km distances, with pace groups for all speeds. Ride through the beautiful countryside north of Toronto while enjoying full ride support, including police traffic control, free kits (fundraising minimum), premium food and beverages, free bike tune ups and high value prizes.
Challenge yourself to a metric century, classic century or double metric century and you will be making a difference in the lives of children battling cancer. Every dollar raised at this event goes directly to charity. Over the past 15 years, the Ride for Karen has raised more than $2.4 million to send kids with cancer to camp, help build new cancer care facilities and provide much needed resources for cancer support centres.
Join us on August 13 at the Markham Fairgrounds. Advance registration is $100 with no fundraising minimum. Raise $250 and your entry fees is waived.
