Kingston Snophy – OFBS 4 @ MTB Kingston
Feb 9 all-day

The course last year was amazing! So fast and grippy. Maybe a little cold out there, but the trail was killer. Rob has a couple options dialed for us depending on weather and conditions. Either way it will be a blast!

The goal is to make a competitive and fair race, but to balance that with being a fun day on the bike. It’s no fun to push a bike all day.

The race will (likely) go through the barn, an insulated and heated room for registration and timing and we will have lots of chilli and hot chocolate. Oh! and Big Wheel Beer for the podium, big thanks to Amsterdam Beer!

We’re back at the MTB Kingston trails for some fun in the snow! This race will feature a unique multi-lap ”endurance” format on a fun, fast course. Choose the solo 3-hour, solo 1.5-hour or Tag Team 3-hour race, and then complete as many laps as you can in the allotted time. (Whoever does the most laps for each race wins.)

We have over $1000 in draw prizes lined up so stick around, you might win some sweet fat bike schwag!

Hardwood Fat Bike Race – OFBS 5 @ Hardwood Ski & Bike
Mar 10 all-day

Challenge the winter and register for this fun race.

The course will be a mix of single track and double track, the ratio of which will be determined closer to the date of the race, as snow conditions will dictate how much single track we can include, without subjecting the racers to “hike a bike”.

Lap length will be somewhere close to 10km, give or take, requiring 2 laps for the short course, or 4 laps for the long.

Sign up for the rest of the series at:

https://www.webscorer.com/registerseries?seriesid=161828

Sign up for other single races in the series at:

https://www.webscorer.com/1762?pg=register

To get the series price you must sign up for all 5 races. Sign up for the series at the link above to get your Series price discount code.

For details on each race check the event site at www.substanceprojects.com/fat-bike

Series points will be based on your best 4 out of 5 races. If you have to miss one or have a mechanical you can still lead the way!

Permitted Tire Sizes: 3.0? or wider (Fat bikes and 27/29 bikes). If the trails are free of snow, we may have a Skinny-Cat category* (though Skinny-Cat riders do not gain series points). There is a strict NO WHINING policy regarding tire width. We have to keep all the groomers happy or they will roll over us with their equipment.
