The criteria for being listed as Team Ontario in 2012 is:
- 11/12 Carded Athletes
- 11/12 Athletes who met the automatic/minimum criteria per Carding Criteria, but were not selected.
- Previous Year Carded Athletes 10/11. Canada Games Team from Previous Year (Can only apply if the CSG occurred the year before the carding year. In 2011 this will not apply)
- Quest for Gold Athlete
Consistent with the development focus of the OCA High Performance program Team Ontario includes U19, U23, U17 and Senior Elite (19-29) age athletes.
