Ontario Criterium Series – A Big Weekend Ahead

With two races down, the Ontario Criterium Series is well underway. This weekend will feature the third and fourth race in the five race series. Tomorrow (Friday) will see riders take to the streets of downtown Kitchener in the Kitchener Twilight Grand Prix. The following day (Saturday) will see racing take to the streets of downtown Cambridge in the first ever Fieldstone Criterium which is also the 2017 Provincial Championships. Over $15,000 in prize money is up for grabs in both races!

The Ontario Criterium Series stretches from Ottawa to Windsor. Double series points were awarded to riders that addend the Preston Street Criterium and the same will go for riders that attend the Tour di via Italia. Over $50,000 in prize money is up for grabs over the course of the series. That doesn’t include a purse of over $4,000 for the overall series winner which will be given out at the end of the series in Windsor to the Elite ½ and Junior fields!
