Racing returns to the Velodrome with the Ontario Youth Track Development Series Race #2 on Saturday, January 13th and the Track O-Cup #2 on Sunday, January 14th, 2018.
Registration for both events will close on January 9th, 2018 at 12:00 NOON. For O-Cup participants, there will be an ‘Early Bird’ registration open until January 2nd at 11:59 pm.
Technical guides are updated periodically with a FINAL version posted 24 hours prior to race time. Please check back frequently to ensure you have the most up to date information.
Updates for Participants
Due to an overwhelming number of participants, caps have been placed on the number of entries within each category for both Youth and O-Cup participants. To reserve your spot don’t delay and register ASAP! The OCA reserves the right to amend the schedule if participation numbers are low in various events or categories.
Out of province/country riders are welcome, subject to availability. The OCA reserves the right to restrict entry on this basis. Should a category reach capacity, priority is given to Ontario riders, followed by out of province riders and out of country riders.
Out of province/country riders wishing to participate in the Youth Track Development Series race #2, must reserve a spot on the waitlist by emailing email@example.com. Registration for out of province/country riders will open on Monday, January 8th at 9:00 am with remaining spots given to those on the waitlist. For more information please contact the OCA office.
A reminder that clubs must identify who is working with their team on the in-field. Only identified personnel [coaches, mechanics, and support] will be permitted, limited to 5 personnel per club [i.e. no friends, parents]. Clubs MUST be 100% responsible for those that are identified to work with their athletes. All team personnel will be required to check in at registration. Clubs are asked to email firstname.lastname@example.org to identify their personnel (limit of 5) by Thursday, January 11th. Independent riders, not belonging to a club, are permitted 1 support person on the in-field.
- A rider must withdraw prior to the end of registration in order to be eligible to receive a refund. All refunds are subject to a non-refundable processing fee (variable based on transaction value) plus a refund administration fee of $5 +HST.
- Once the registration period has ended on January 9th at 12:00 PM – NOON, refunds are no longer available.
- If an athlete withdraws from the event on race day, they are not eligible for a refund and the rider must inform the Chief Commissaire of their withdrawal.
A reminder to all participants that your licenses will be printed and ready at the registration desk on the day of the event for no additional fee. You will need to apply for you license no later than Tuesday, January 9th, 2018.
