The Ontario Cycling Association is offering a Provincial Level C commissaire course for Track on Sunday, January 22, 2017 and Sunday, January 29, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Mattamy National Cycling Centre in Milton. Attendance is required on both days to complete the course.
This introductory level course will cover the structure of the sport of cycling, roles of the commissaires’ panel, basic track racing principles, types of track events and skills required to work an event at the Provincial C level.
In addition to attending the course and passing a written test on the second day, participants are required to work three track events as a Technical Assistant in order to be certified as Provincial Level C.
The cost for the course is $100 + HST. An ear piece radio attachment will be provided upon passing the written test and $50 will be refunded upon the completion of the three Technical Assistant assignments.
