BMX loses a great volunteer and ambassador

It is with the greatest sadness that i forward information regarding MATT TERRY of Saugeen Shores BMX.
Matt passed away on October 20th of a suspected heart attack at the young age of 54. Matt has been the VP of Saugeen Shores BMX since the track was opened many moons ago. His tireless dedication to the sport, in which he had NO kids participating; his respect for all the riders and the parents; his dedication that helped get kids of all ages onto a bike; his dry, dry sense of humour; his kind words for everyone . . . . the list could go on an on.
The funeral service will be held on Monday at 7pm in Port Elgin. There will be some of us heading up for the funeral, if anyone needs a ride or wants to car pool, please email bmx@ontariocycling.org .
Our prayers and wishes go out to Matts wife and family.
RIP Matt Terry - you touched each of our lives in a special way.
