Welcome Back to the Track Season!

The OCA would like to wish you a Happy New Year and welcome you back to a Track season that is in full swing. With a Youth Track Development Series event kicking off the New Year on January 14th, followed by an O-Cup on January 15th, this is shaping up to be a great year for cycling in Ontario. Youth Track Development Series

The Youth Track Development Series is well underway with the second event of the season on January 14th. Registration for the event will close January 11th at 11:59 PM. Click HERE to register. The second event of the Series will feature events similar to the first race. New to the series will be a Skills Session held prior to the start of the day. The Skills Session will be 45 minutes long and will consist of multiple drills aimed towards building a rider’s bike handling, balance, ability to look ahead, and riding in bunches. The session is not mandatory but is recommended for riders competing in C/D/E Grade. Other riders are welcome to attend.

The OCA is looking for 4 to 6 U19 riders to lead the skill session. Riders interested in leading the session may click HERE for the volunteer application form. For further details on both the skills session and the Youth Track Development Series please contact Adam Morrow, Development Coordinator, adam.morrow@ontariocycling.org.

New to the O-Cup schedule, we have added Para Cycling events where riders will compete in a Kilo and Flying Lap! Register TODAY!

Membership and licence processing is generally a 2-3 week process from time of application to receiving the membership/ licence in the mail. To ensure you have your 2017 UCI Licence in time for O-Cup #2 please apply online through CCN prior to January 4th 2017 CLICK HERE .  Membership applications submitted after this date are advised to select “Rush Processing” to ensure their licence is processed in time to compete.

All riders MUST have their membership card in hand to present to registration on the day of the event to compete.

Is my Club or Team affiliated for 2017?

If not, you will not be able to get your licence with their name on it until they do. There is a drop down list, during the registration process, with all clubs and teams that are registered for 2017. If your club or team is not on there, they have yet to complete the affiliation process for this season.

You may purchase your licence as an Independent and update your licence at a later date once your club has affiliated.  This will incur a $10 reprocessing fee.

If your club/team is from out of province, you will need to contact the office to have them added to the drop down list (Note they must also be affiliated to be listed).
