Featuring a collection of women from within the sport, the aim of this panel is to discuss the ways the cycling world can become more inclusive so we can continue to grow as a sport that is accessible to all. Each panelist brings a different perspective to cycling and inclusivity.
Rosa Philip: A Community Initiation Trained Cycling Coach, Rosa is also a Road/Track Cyclist who commutes to work via bicycle.
Christine Molnar: A Team Ontario Handcyclist, Christine is also a mother of three.
Emilee Schevers: A Visually Impaired cyclist who rides with Tandem Eyes out the Peterborough area, Emilee is a member of the CNIB’s Youth Counsel and advocator for accessibility.
Pauline Beaupre: A member of the OCA Board of Directors, Pauline is active in the cycling community and is an organizer of the BOW+ group rides that run out of Toronto. BOW+ is a dedicated space for women, female-identifying, trans & gender non-binary road cyclists.
Kathleen MacEwen: A Master cyclist and Community Initiation Certified Cycling Coach, Kathleen is also a member of the OCA Board of Directors and a former member of the Canadian Armed Forces.
