Toronto Hustle Women’s Ride @ Zwift
Mar 4 @ 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Let’s build some base miles together, encourage each other and have fun through the winter months.

Our course and ride leader varies each week, but it is always social, fun and supportive. The rides will range between 1.8–2.5w/kg depending on the group! This is a ride for women, led by women.

Please respect the ride leader as we try to keep the group together. The fence feature will be used to prevent the group from separating too much. If you are too far ahead of the ride leader you will be asked to return to the group! Ask questions, get training tips and chat with old and new friends. Follow us on social for more details.

Let’s ride! Want to ride with us more? Join our weekly open ride on Sundays at 7:30am EST.

Ontario ESPORTS Virtual Challenge #3 p/b Morning Glory Cycling Club #OntarioCyclingESPORTS 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️ @ Zwift
Mar 6 @ 9:00 am – 10:30 am

OCA Virtual Challenge #3 Tech Guide

Members who wish to be included in results MUST sign up by Friday March 5th at 6:00pm EST: Registration Link

The course for OCA Virtual Challenge #3 will be the Watopia Road to Sky Course. A 17.3km point-to-point hill climb challenge where participants will complete 1045 metres (3428 feet) of climbing. This course begins with a 5km relatively flat lead in on the jungle course and gravel roads before beginning their 12.3km nonstop climb up Alpe du Zwift. The pace will be slow, competition high and drafting benefits of riding in a group almost negligible. Previous Virtual Challenge races allowed for various rider types to challenge each other in rolling but repetitive landscapes offering a variety of course terrain but this race is all about the polka dot climbers jersey.

  • All racers will complete the same distance in this point-to-point hill climb challenge.

To join, search Zwift Events in the Zwift Companion app for: MGCC hosts Ontario Cycling Association Virtual Challenge #3 taking place on Saturday, March 6th, 9:00 AM EST and enter into the category that you submitted to us during registration. If you want to change Zwift Categories, you MUST let us know before the start of the race by emailing events.team@ontariocycling.org

To view the event on Zwift CLICK HERE

This challenge is open to all, however OCA members who register in advance will be listed in separate results, posted on our website.

SMITE (Saturday Morning Interval Training Exercise) hosted by Uxbridge Cycling Club @ Zwift
Mar 6 @ 9:00 am – 10:00 am

Hosted by the Uxbridge Cycling Club, SMITE (Saturday Morning Interval Training Exercise) is a 50-60 min no-drop group ride spiked by a rotating mix of short to long Strava segments. Finding it hard to train more than 4 hours per week? Interval training is a proven format for dynamic power gains over short periods of time. SMITE will incorporate a mix of Sweet Spot, Threshold and VO2Max efforts to hammer your legs into finely sculpted PYTHONS.

VHIIT (Variable High Intensity Interval Training) FORMAT Each Interval is a Strava segment race against the clock for the best chip time, and we’ll have 4-5 per ride.

Intervals will add up to around 30% of the overall ride each week. Once at the end of the interval, wait to let your fellow SMITErs regroup. This is only NO-DROP ride between intervals. Maintain a pace of ~30 km/hr in between intervals and 2.5 watts/kg up hills. The ride leader will call out the Strava segments as you approach them, so stay close.

Join SMITE by finding the event in the Zwift Companion App. Add the event to your schedule. On Saturday morning, login to Zwift by 8:45am to warm up and then join the event when the reminder appears!
